Winter Jackets for Little Ones!

With temperatures dropping in the nights already, it’s time to get ready for the long winter ahead and buy a winter coat to keep your little one warm. Here are some tips that will help you choose a good one:

o    Look for down insulation. Your child will like its light weight while you will appreciate its warmth.
o    Find Coat with hood. The hood comes in handy in lots of ways. It will provide an extra layer to help keep the head warm. It is also handy in case your child loses his/her hat.
o    Buy a Coat with both zipper and Velcro closing . It is easier to close when your little one is having fun opening it.
o    Save by buying Snow Suits. Snow suits are helpful in keeping the whole body warm. It comes in very handy when your little one wants to play in the snow, go out for a walk or just try to help you shovel. Look for the ones that comes with a separate overalls as inner layer and a jacket with hood on top. It usually costs less than finding both items separately and trying to coordinate them.
You can get a good deal on these Snowsuits at Sears by going through www.bestcouponcollection.com. Here are some real cute options:

Hope you found these tips helpful in finding the best winter coat for your kids. Feel free to share your experience.

Retail Therapy!

When I started this Blog I thought it would be fun finding deals every day. I still think it is, but life is not all about getting good deals. Sometimes you have bad days, things happen and your spirit gets low. You want the world to stop, let you take a break for just one day... But life goes on! It has to go on. Hey what am I talking about? What happened to my philosophy? Where is my lemonade????

Ok that’s enough, I did not call my blog "life sucks" or "reality hurts", I called it why shop online! I dedicated it to my love for shopping. Everyone has different way of relaxing or dealing with the day to day issues of life. Mine has always been window shopping, I call it "retail therapy!"

So off I go....(To my favorite online deal website of course!)

While I was at it, I found Esprit is offering 40% off almost everything. Now that’s what I call saving with style!

I feel much better after my retail therapy! What’s your way of relaxing after a long day???

Best Ways to Save While Shopping Online

If you, like me, are still suffering from the effects of the recession, I have found a few ways by which you can save and maximize the value of your hard-earned money. If you've been nervous about shopping online, it’s time to change now. The reason for that is that these days online shopping websites are highly secure and you're missing out on major sources of savings if you are not using one. Why is this so? Because it costs far less for retail stores to maintain online stores than to run actual brick-and-mortar storefronts. With lower overhead, online stores can expand their customer base to reach more people and can provide customers with more specials and deeper discounts.

While shopping online, here are my saving tips:

1. Online Shopping Sites: Most of the popular U.S. discount stores now offer online shopping. Look for online discounts from stores such as Wal-Mart, Kmart, Best Buy, Target, Kohl's, and many others.

2. Coupon Codes: When shopping online, always remember to search for that store's coupon codes. You also may want to join one of the many online savings clubs in order to receive first dibs on your favorite sites coupon codes. You can also use this tip for shopping at brick-and-mortar stores. Look for "coupon codes" in their sales fliers and weekend newspaper advertising inserts.

3. Promotions or "Promo Codes." Many online stores run weekly, monthly, and seasonal promotions. Always perform a search for such promotions when seeking out specific brands or products.

4. Clearance Sales: Also search the sale and clearance areas of online stores. You'll be surprised at the great deals you can find this way. Just like heading right for the sales rack of your favorite store, do the same when online shopping.

5. Outlet and Overstock: Don't forget to regularly shop outlets and warehouse/overstock stores. Many online stores also maintain outlet or overstock sections, offering deep price slashes for high quality items.

6. Vouchers: Some stores and websites offer vouchers for returning customers, for example, $5 off your next purchase. Others offer credit for referring friends to their store. It's important to keep track of such vouchers so that you’re certain to use them before they expire.

7. Bargains: To find true bargains, it's helpful to compare prices so that you're shopping not only for discounted prices, but also for the lowest prices available for a certain product. This method works online, too, and comparison-shopping websites, such as Nextag, Yahoo! Shopping and www.bestcouponcollection.com are particularly useful when bargain hunting.

8. Deals: Many sites offer "deals of the day," "deals of the week," or "deals of the month." The best way to do that is like the Facebook page of the website of your  choice so you can get regular updates on their deals.

9. Percentage Discounts: Some stores and websites offer discounts, such as 25% off if you spend $75, or free shipping if you spend a certain amount online. In such cases, if you're just a few dollars short of reaching the required amount, go ahead and find something else you need and you'll often make up for the price of the extra item on the basis of the percentage discount or the free-shipping offer.

10. Free Shipping and Tax-Free Deals: Some online stores offer free shipping no matter how little you purchase. These are the best offers out there, and many people never consider the exorbitant amounts they often pay for shipping and handling. Also, many states waive sales taxes during key weekends of the year, most often during-back-to school or pre-holiday weekends, keep an eye on those to add up to significant savings.

Hope you found my tips helpful, please feel free to post any deals you found using my Blog! I will be back with more...

Best Online Deals on Shoes!

By: ZeeBee

Shopping for shoes is the biggest challenge I face. When I find a pair I like it turns out to be too pricey. If I find one with in my budget, I can’t find my size. If the size and price is good the sales girl tells me that they “just” sold the last piece in the color I needed it, and the shoe shopping dilemma continues…

When I started shopping online, I thought I can buy anything online but shoes. How can I buy a pair without trying it? It has to fit well for me to buy it! This summer, before heading out for our family vacation, unable to find a reasonable pair of shoes in the local stores, I decided to do some research on buying shoes online.

When I buy online, I prefer going on one of my favorite discount websites, where I can compare different brands under one roof. This time I chose to visit www.bestcouponcollection.com, as they have some of my favorite shoe stores like Naturalizer, Heels.com, Crocs, and departmental stores like Sears, Kohl’s and Target all under one roof.

I was glad to notice that most of these stores had better bargain online than in the actual store. Naturalizer was offering a vast variety of shoes on clearance in all sizes and colors. I like to wear Crocs for gardening and was happy to see their promotion. A coupon code by heels.com $25 off 100 caught my eyes; they are also offering free shipping. What really got me drooling was the Born Collection on Eddie Bauer’s clearance! I have to admit that they have limited variety, but the prices they are offering are irresistible, top that with Born comfort and I won’t say more you have to check their unbeatable deal out to believe it!

Since I am a picky with shoes, more than finding the shoes online, my research was focused on how to return the shoes if I don’t like them. Going from store to store, online of course, I figured out that the each store has its own return policy. If I try to grade it on a scale of 1-10 with one being the hardest and ten being the easiest to return, I would say most of the stores return policies are between 7-10. Let me explain that, stores like Naturalizer, Kohl’s, Target and Sears that let you choose to take the shoes back to their qualifying stores or ship it back to them got a 10 on my scale. Other stores like heels.com and Crocs where you have to mail the shoes back got a 7. Overall I found the return policy of most of the stores pretty much hassle free. They do expect you to return an unused item only, which makes total sense to me. I always make sure that the product I am planning to buy is returnable before you check out. Most of the stores state their return policy before checkout; make sure you read that even if you are not planning on returning the shoes.

Once satisfied with the return policy of the shoes I liked, I ended up ordering two pair of shoes from different stores. I got the delivery on time tried them, liked them, and headed to my vacation with a smile. I enjoyed my shoe shopping online and I hope you do too!

Online Deals on Back to School Shopping!

In my last Blog I promised to be back with online deals on Back to School Shopping.  With the summer ending and the schools just about to open, I know most of you must be eager to finish that school supply list. On top of that, kids grow like wild flowers during the summer so I decided to find some online deals on clothing and shoes as well!

A lot of stores like Wal-Mart, Target and Kohl’s are offering deals in store and online. As I discussed in my last Blog, with time crunch, and gas price hike, shopping online has become my new obsession, so I logged on to my favorite website and found some good deals on clothing and school supplies.

First things first I started looking for deals on school supplies. A store that I had never even heard of Discount School Supply is offering 30% off retail price on almost everything. I found Dry Erase Crayola Markers for $4.99 and School Glue for $0.77 just to name a few. Now who cares for the store name if the deal is so good right?

With school supplies list out of my way, my next target was to find bargain prices on clothing. This I thought would be more time consuming. So with my legs stretched on the couch, the laptop on my lap, and a can of Soda on my side I went back to business…

Well when I said it will take a long time, I thought that with school opening soon, it will be hard to find any thing good online. I was so wrong! I did spend a lot time finding what I need, but not because there were no deals available, but because there were way too many for me to decide which one to go for!

With clothes, I like sticking to good brands. My mother’s theory on spending on clothes for children is, “Spend more and you will cry less, spend less and you will cry more…” Well Mom I have changed your words of wisdom to, “spend wisely on brands with good deals online and you won’t shed a tear!”

I started with my daughter’s favorite store, “Justice”, and was luck to find 40% off coupon code. Since my son needs school uniform, finding clothes for him does not take very long. I did find good deal on Sears for school uniform, as they were on 50% off with an additional 15% off with the coupon code I found, in addition to that they were also offering $10 comeback cash (as they call it) on a $50 purchase. We picked and choose what we needed from there and headed to find shoes. Thankfully my son didn’t outgrow his school shoes from last year so we were done with his shopping quickly. My daughter insisted on getting new Crocs. Since her sneakers are still in good condition, and with the awesome deals I have found on other stuff, I had some money left in my budget to spare for that. I can never find Crocs on sale, but I still managed to find 25% off on what my daughter was looking for after using this coupon.

My rule for buying backpacks is getting a good one that you like and use it for two years. Since this was our year off for that, I didn’t really pay attention to the prices for backpacks this year. While browsing, I did come across good deals on books for college students. My kids are still in school but I couldn’t help noticing that Barne’s &Noble is offering up to 90% off used text books. Also if someone is looking for new computers this year, Circuit City is offering really good bargain!
Thanks to www.bestcouponcollection.com, I finished my back to school shopping in a few hours just sitting on my comfortable couch with my favorite CD on, what about you?

My transition from In-store to online shopper…

I love to shop. There is no way I can deny that. On top of that, I am not just any shopper; I am a “deal hunter”! Yes I am one of those people who would go in a store if it has a “sales” banner on it; even if they are selling they are selling cat food, and I don’t even own a pet!

My best hangout as a teenager was of course at mall. There was a time when I could spend hours and hours in the mall with my girl friends going from store to store picking up random stuff. Oh I so miss the golden old days. But unfortunately I grew up and with age came responsibility… For me responsibility meant spending less time in the mall and more on the desk job I was doing. Well at least I had weekends to pamper myself in familiar surroundings (of a mall). Deal hunting was still my favorite hobby…

More time passed and now on top of a full time job, I have a husband and two kids to take care of. In today’s economy, deal hunting has become more of a survival strategy then a hobby for me. The problem is that I really don’t have time for deal hunting any more…. Yes I still love shopping yes I still love to find deals but after taking care of everything at home and work, I really don’t have the time or energy to shop like I once had…

I am sure a lot of readers would associate with my current situation, and that is exactly why I decided to sit down and type this up on my laptop. Yes Laptop has become my new fixation, my breathing space, my social life and the only “me time” I have after a long day!

Not very long ago, it was on Face book where a friend of mine introduced me a deal hunting website, www.bestcouponcollection.com. I knew a lot of stores have their own websites and I used to check them out every now and then, but finding it all under one roof, was like a dream come true, like going to a virtual mall without having to drive, like finding a parking space without even looking. Clicking on different stores and finding great clearance deals on bestcouponcollection.com I felt like Alice in the wonderland or more like a kid in a candy store.

I am sure most of you have already used online coupons one way or the other, but for me, being new to this part of the shopping world, the biggest issue with an online purchase was what if I don’t like it upon delivery? Well guess what??? Most of the online stores have easy return policy and in most cases we can chose to return the stuff we don’t like either by shipping it back or taking it back to our local store. Now that was easy!

I don’t think I need to mention this here, but finding online deals is my new hobby now, or should I call it my “upgraded” hobby? It is amazing how on websites like bestcouponcollection.com, you can find online coupon and deals from all your favorite stores and imagine all the time and money u can save by using the website.

Just last week, I wanted to buy something special for my daughter, when I asked her what she want, she said a Ruby Necklace, (what can I say she is my daughter!). Together, we clicked on www.bestcouponcollection.com, browsed on the various online jewelry stores in their list, found a good deal on a Ruby Necklace on ice.com used a 20% off coupon on top from bestcouponcollection.com and ended up paying $104 including shipping and taxes for a 22 carat lab created ruby necklace! Now that’s a deal even I couldn’t find in the local mall.

I hope you liked my journey from store to online shopper. My next project is online Back to School shopping. I will make sure to update you with the best deals I find. Till then, CIOA!!!!
