Winter Jackets for Little Ones!

With temperatures dropping in the nights already, it’s time to get ready for the long winter ahead and buy a winter coat to keep your little one warm. Here are some tips that will help you choose a good one:

o    Look for down insulation. Your child will like its light weight while you will appreciate its warmth.
o    Find Coat with hood. The hood comes in handy in lots of ways. It will provide an extra layer to help keep the head warm. It is also handy in case your child loses his/her hat.
o    Buy a Coat with both zipper and Velcro closing . It is easier to close when your little one is having fun opening it.
o    Save by buying Snow Suits. Snow suits are helpful in keeping the whole body warm. It comes in very handy when your little one wants to play in the snow, go out for a walk or just try to help you shovel. Look for the ones that comes with a separate overalls as inner layer and a jacket with hood on top. It usually costs less than finding both items separately and trying to coordinate them.
You can get a good deal on these Snowsuits at Sears by going through www.bestcouponcollection.com. Here are some real cute options:

Retail Therapy!

When I started this Blog I thought it would be fun finding deals every day. I still think it is, but life is not all about getting good deals. Sometimes you have bad days, things happen and your spirit gets low. You want the world to stop, let you take a break for just one day... But life goes on! It has to go on. Hey what am I talking about? What happened to my philosophy? Where is my lemonade????

Ok that’s enough, I did not call my blog "life sucks" or "reality hurts", I called it why shop online! I dedicated it to my love for shopping. Everyone has different way of relaxing or dealing with the day to day issues of life. Mine has always been window shopping, I call it "retail therapy!"

So off I go....(To my favorite online deal website of course!)

While I was at it, I found Esprit is offering 40% off almost everything. Now that’s what I call saving with style!

I feel much better after my retail therapy! What’s your way of relaxing after a long day???

Best Ways to Save While Shopping Online

If you, like me, are still suffering from the effects of the recession, I have found a few ways by which you can save and maximize the value of your hard-earned money. If you've been nervous about shopping online, it’s time to change now. The reason for that is that these days online shopping websites are highly secure and you're missing out on major sources of savings if you are not using one. Why is this so? Because it costs far less for retail stores to maintain online stores than to run actual brick-and-mortar storefronts. With lower overhead, online stores can expand their customer base to reach more people and can provide customers with more specials and deeper discounts.

While shopping online, here are my saving tips:

1. Online Shopping Sites: Most of the popular U.S. discount stores now offer online shopping. Look for online discounts from stores such as Wal-Mart, Kmart, Best Buy, Target, Kohl's, and many others.

2. Coupon Codes: When shopping online, always remember to search for that store's coupon codes. You also may want to join one of the many online savings clubs in order to receive first dibs on your favorite sites coupon codes. You can also use this tip for shopping at brick-and-mortar stores. Look for "coupon codes" in their sales fliers and weekend newspaper advertising inserts.

3. Promotions or "Promo Codes." Many online stores run weekly, monthly, and seasonal promotions. Always perform a search for such promotions when seeking out specific brands or products.

4. Clearance Sales: Also search the sale and clearance areas of online stores. You'll be surprised at the great deals you can find this way. Just like heading right for the sales rack of your favorite store, do the same when online shopping.

5. Outlet and Overstock: Don't forget to regularly shop outlets and warehouse/overstock stores. Many online stores also maintain outlet or overstock sections, offering deep price slashes for high quality items.

6. Vouchers: Some stores and websites offer vouchers for returning customers, for example, $5 off your next purchase. Others offer credit for referring friends to their store. It's important to keep track of such vouchers so that you’re certain to use them before they expire.

7. Bargains: To find true bargains, it's helpful to compare prices so that you're shopping not only for discounted prices, but also for the lowest prices available for a certain product. This method works online, too, and comparison-shopping websites, such as Nextag, Yahoo! Shopping and www.bestcouponcollection.com are particularly useful when bargain hunting.

8. Deals: Many sites offer "deals of the day," "deals of the week," or "deals of the month." The best way to do that is like the Facebook page of the website of your  choice so you can get regular updates on their deals.

9. Percentage Discounts: Some stores and websites offer discounts, such as 25% off if you spend $75, or free shipping if you spend a certain amount online. In such cases, if you're just a few dollars short of reaching the required amount, go ahead and find something else you need and you'll often make up for the price of the extra item on the basis of the percentage discount or the free-shipping offer.

10. Free Shipping and Tax-Free Deals: Some online stores offer free shipping no matter how little you purchase. These are the best offers out there, and many people never consider the exorbitant amounts they often pay for shipping and handling. Also, many states waive sales taxes during key weekends of the year, most often during-back-to school or pre-holiday weekends, keep an eye on those to add up to significant savings.

Hope you found my tips helpful, please feel free to post any deals you found using my Blog! I will be back with more...

Best Online Deals on Shoes!

By: ZeeBee

Shopping for shoes is the biggest challenge I face. When I find a pair I like it turns out to be too pricey. If I find one with in my budget, I can’t find my size. If the size and price is good the sales girl tells me that they “just” sold the last piece in the color I needed it, and the shoe shopping dilemma continues…

When I started shopping online, I thought I can buy anything online but shoes. How can I buy a pair without trying it? It has to fit well for me to buy it! This summer, before heading out for our family vacation, unable to find a reasonable pair of shoes in the local stores, I decided to do some research on buying shoes online.

When I buy online, I prefer going on one of my favorite discount websites, where I can compare different brands under one roof. This time I chose to visit www.bestcouponcollection.com, as they have some of my favorite shoe stores like Naturalizer, Heels.com, Crocs, and departmental stores like Sears, Kohl’s and Target all under one roof.

I was glad to notice that most of these stores had better bargain online than in the actual store. Naturalizer was offering a vast variety of shoes on clearance in all sizes and colors. I like to wear Crocs for gardening and was happy to see their promotion. A coupon code by heels.com $25 off 100 caught my eyes; they are also offering free shipping. What really got me drooling was the Born Collection on Eddie Bauer’s clearance! I have to admit that they have limited variety, but the prices they are offering are irresistible, top that with Born comfort and I won’t say more you have to check their unbeatable deal out to believe it!

Since I am a picky with shoes, more than finding the shoes online, my research was focused on how to return the shoes if I don’t like them. Going from store to store, online of course, I figured out that the each store has its own return policy. If I try to grade it on a scale of 1-10 with one being the hardest and ten being the easiest to return, I would say most of the stores return policies are between 7-10. Let me explain that, stores like Naturalizer, Kohl’s, Target and Sears that let you choose to take the shoes back to their qualifying stores or ship it back to them got a 10 on my scale. Other stores like heels.com and Crocs where you have to mail the shoes back got a 7. Overall I found the return policy of most of the stores pretty much hassle free. They do expect you to return an unused item only, which makes total sense to me. I always make sure that the product I am planning to buy is returnable before you check out. Most of the stores state their return policy before checkout; make sure you read that even if you are not planning on returning the shoes.

Once satisfied with the return policy of the shoes I liked, I ended up ordering two pair of shoes from different stores. I got the delivery on time tried them, liked them, and headed to my vacation with a smile. I enjoyed my shoe shopping online and I hope you do too!
